The Brid player has two distinct options when it comes to sharing to multiple social networks.
1) Share Video - This option will try to share the video directly to Facebook's or Twitters wall so it can be viewed and played back in the wall itself.
If this option is selected, a short URL will be provided by the player which shares specific preview pages designed by Brid.
These pages are specifically made having in mind all the needed metadata that social sites need to embed a player into their feed.
Note: This option will correctly work only for videos uploaded and encoded in Brid due to various requirements set by different social networks.
Your player with your skin will be shared and seen inside the Facebook wall. This is possible on desktop only. Facebook has disabled in-wall playback of third party players on mobile.
Due to the deprecation of the Flash player, only the default Brid skin will be seen on Facebook.
Note: Due to limitations set by Facebook, sharing of third-party players is not possible anymore.
Brid has a whitelisted domain with Twitter for a player card. This means that whenever a user shares the player to Twitter, the entire Brid player will appear in Twitter's feed on desktop. On mobile, Twitter has certain limitations and third party players cannot be embedded.
2) Share Page URL - This option will always share the URL upon which the player is located. Depending on what metadata is located on your page, the appropriate data will get shared to your social network of choice.
