What is AMP?
Google’s Accelerated Mobile Pages (AMP) is a new specification for publishers to serve consumers fast loading pages on the mobile web by controlling the way page elements load. AMP accelerates page load by only executing portions of the page when they come into view or are clicked by the user.
Brid AMP Component
To ensure Brid Players load quickly under the new Google AMP spec, we've created a Brid Player component for AMP HTML.
Brid’s AMP component is a different player embed code that we’re offering for use in AMP HTML pages, should customers wish to support the initiative. We made the AMP HTML component available to ensure that the player is compatible with the AMP specification and that any page where it is featured will be understood by Google as being AMP-compliant.
AMP HTML includes an
amp-brid-player component which allows publishers to embed Brid Players within AMP HTML documents.

How to integrate with WordPress?
As WordPress currently does not have support for AMP pages out of the box, AMP page implementation is done via a plugin. The Brid WordPress plugin is made to work with Automattic's AMP plugin - https://wordpress.org/plugins/amp/
The current state of the AMP plugin is an early beta so they currently support post AMP page creation only. No pages AMP support is available. This means that the Brid AMP player will show up only on posts.
Brid player shortcode will automatically detect if the AMP plugin is present and enabled and behave appropriately when an AMP post gets called, Brid's player shortcode implementation will automatically render the appropriate Brid AMP component inside the AMP post.
To implement Brid AMP players for WordPress just upgrade to the latest Brid WordPress plugin and you are good to go!
Advertising including pre rolls mid rolls and post rolls work in players used in AMP.
