Brid native ad units are a special type of ad unit which does not require VAST/VPAID ad tags for monetization purposes.
Their sole purpose is to embed a video from your current Brid video list and embed it in such a way where it will behave as an ad itself. The unit itself has similar configuration values as our other ad units (in-content and in-slide) only it works without the monetization part as the video itself that you embed with this native ad unit is the advertisement.
To support this implementation, when you set up a native ad unit you will have options to set up tracking pixels for different features:
- Impression pixel
- Viewability pixel
- All quartile pixels
- Clickthrough URL
- Click tracking pixel
With this in place, you can embed any video under your account with a native unit and set up tracking pixels so you can track its performance.
Keep in mind that for now, you will need to provide these tracking pixels from a third party but in the future, we plan on adding support for default tracking pixels so you can track stats in our system without the need of adding third-party tracking support.
